Inukshuk, the singular of inuksuit, means "in the likeness of a human" in the Inuit language. They are monuments made of unworked stones that are used by the Inuit for communication and survival. The traditional meaning of the inukshuk is "Someone was here" or "You are on the right path."

Beginnings;

 First & foremost, I give Thanks to Our Heavenly Father, who has guided me along this path, while showing me that there are no accidents and everything happens for reasons beyond our own understanding. Lest I ever forget, I have the scars in my palms to remind me that my hands are a miracle & a precious gift.

 I began giving massages at a young age; my earliest memories are rubbing my mother's feet. Coach Goldberg of the Trail Blazers guided me into sports massage by stretching cross country runners and track & field athletes, which included my two sweet sisters.

 During my 14th summer (1980), I was befriended by my neighbor, a Russian immigrant; (Ivan), already in his 60's at the time, blind from birth and trained from a young age in Healing Touch Massage, Russian Sports Therapy, and Reiki Energy Work. Thus began my first steps in an apprenticeship to becoming a Massage Therapist. At 16 I was massaging Gymnasts & Ballerinas with Ivan's tutelage.

 My first massage table was given to me by my second Master of Massage at 18 (1984). Ms. Barbara continued my training in massage by teaching me Acupressure Point Therapy, Esalen Massage, & the sacred Healing Arts of Tantric/Kundalini. My first business opportunity was afforded at her Jazzercise studio so I could rejuvenate her clients & friends. During the time I was learning massage from Ms. Barbara, I was being trained in Martial Arts by my third Master, Sensei. Knowing I was being taught the art of Healing Touch Massage, Sensei took it upon himself to train me in Shiatsu, the ancient art of warrior massage & Qi Gong, the ancient art of stance/breathe/energy.

Formal Massage Therapy Education

 In 1989 I began massage school at Phoenix Massage School in Houston, Texas, where I received my certification in Massage Therapy. {State Reg. 3867}

 During the 90's there was minimal training in massage, so I sought out those who were willing to share their Healing Arts and experiences with me. Thus I learned:

*TMJ technique from an Oral Surgeon.

*Neuromuscular Therapy & *Scar Relief Therapy from three Neurosurgeons, whom did neck & back surgeries.

*Psychotherapy Integrated Massage from a group of Psychologists whom were working with those suffering from P.T.S.D., Chronic Pain, Touch Deficit Syndrome, and Depression Disorder.

*Scar Relief Therapy, from Plastic Surgeons in Breast Augmentation, Breast Reduction and Breast Reconstruction.

36 years later I continue to discover, flourish and give back by mentoring to those whom wish to unlock the Healer within.

Miracles & Blessings
